Apple Crumb Pie This pie is great for beginners—no rolling of the crust necessary. As Jill says, “Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and life is good.” 2 Cups flour 2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 2/3 Cup oil (canola, corn or vegetable) 3 TB. milk 2 tsp. white or cider vinegar 6-8 assorted apples (Jill has used Jonathans, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Rome and McIntosh. Any good baking apples will do.) 1/2-1 
Cup sugar (depending on the tartness of your apples) 1 tsp. PENZEYS CINNAMON 1 tsp. PURE VANILLA EXTRACT (Jill uses DOUBLE-STRENGTH) 1 TB. butter, cut into small pieces 3/4 Cup flour 1/2 Cup sugar 1/3 Cup butter (5 1/3 TB.), room temperature 1/2 tsp. PENZEYS CINNAMON
