Saffron Afghan Dark Red
Saffron brings a lot of joy to cooking, and Afghan saffron is amazing—all the delicious flavor and glorious golden color saffron is prized for. Just a pinch of the long red strands are needed for curries, rice, chicken soup, sautéed with olive oil for veggies, fish, and more. Easy saffron rice: Heat 2 TB. oil with a pinch of saffron in a small pot, add 1 cup washed rice, stir, add 2 Cups water or stock. Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat to simmer, cook for 15 minutes.
